KABUL (Pajhwok): Accused of killing his compatriot, a 30-year-old Afghan man has gone on trial in southern Germany, a media report said on Wednesday.
The asylum seeker alleged stabbed to death an Afghan mother-of-four who had converted to Christianity, reported The Local, a German digital news publisher.
On April 29, 2017, the man allegedly killed the woman in the presence of two of her children outside a supermarket in Prien. The killer was not named, however.
Prosecutors informed the court in Traunstein that the 38-year-old woman had earlier asked her murderer whether he wanted to convert too. But he declined the request.
