MAHMODRAQI (Pajhwok): A government delegation has been able to mediate and end a 15-year-old enmity between residents of two villages in Kohband district of central Kapisa province.
The enmity between the two villages has caused dozens of casualties on both sides during clashes that also threatened local security, Kapisa police spokesman Mohammad Ayub Yousufzai told Pajhwok Afghan News.
The government commission that comprised of security and civil organs mediated between the two villages and guaranteed no side would resort to violence.
