JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A three-day anti-polio vaccination campaign targeting 1.1 million children in eastern provinces kicked off on Monday in Nangarhar province, where 8,000 children missed the vaccine in previous drives.
Nangarhar Public Health Director Dr. Najibullah Kamawal, who launched the three-day vaccination drive in Jalalabad, said 1.1 million children in the eastern zone and 800,000 children in Nangarhar would be administered polio drops.
He said the campaign was the first in 2018 and so far one positive polio had surfaced . . .
