6.1 earthquake jolts capital Kabul, provinces

KABUL and India on Wednesday, but there was no report of casualties.

According to the US Geological Survey (USGS) the earthquake took place at around 11: 40am and it jolted parts of Afghanistan. The epicenter was Badakhshan’s Juram district.

The tremors were felt in capital Kabul and other provinces. There have been no reports of casualties so far.

Some social media users from northern provinces also reported the earthquake in their regions.
