Russia denounces spate of recent terrorist acts in Kabul

KABUL Alexander Mantytskiy has vehemently condemned the latest terrorist attacks in Kabul, an official said on Saturday.

Qader Shah, spokesman for the national security advisor (NSA), told Pajhwok Afghan News the diplomat denounced the assaults at a meeting with Hanif Atmar in Kabul late on Friday.

Bilateral relations and the war on terrorism were discussed, as the Russian ambassador extended his heartfelt condolence to Atmar on the loss of innocent Afghans in the terrorist acts. He reaffirmed Russia’s supports for Afghanistan.

Atmar thanked the diplomat for his gesture and emphasised terrorism would be a serious threat to the region and world until militant sanctuaries were eliminated outside Afghanistan.
