On his social media account, the president wrote: “The civic movement aimed to build united front against extremism is historic and based on the principles of Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan’s philosophy of non-violence.”
The president said he was expecting the international community and Pakistan to support the movement.
He asked the media to reflect the real picture of ongoing protest and victims of terrorism in Pakistan to the global community and specially the Muslim countries.
