KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP) on Saturday said its annual revenue reached over seven billion afghanis in 2017 from 2016’s 271 million afs.
Acting Mines and Petroleum minister Nargis Nehan told reporters here that the MoMP collected its revenues from contracts with companies, enterprises and exploitation of small natural reservoirs.
She said: “Revenue collected from enterprises in 2017 was over 4.5 billion afghanis, from big contracts over 2.2 billion afghannis and from small mines 461 million afghanis.”
