Gen. Bajwa in Kabul to attend security conference

KABUL’s Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Bajwa arrived in Kabul on Tuesday morning to attend a security conference, an official said.

Heading a high-level delegation, Gen. Bajwa would participate in the regional meeting involving military commanders from Afghanistan.

A government official, who did not want to be named, told Pajhwok Afghan New Gen. Yaftali, the Afghan chief of staff, NATO Commander Gen John Nicholson, Bajwa and CENTCOM head Gen. Joseph Votel would attend meeting.
