QALAT (Pajhwok): Five people, including security forces, have been killed and six others wounded in a roadside blasts and Taliban attack in southern Zabul province, an official said on Thursday

Police Chief Col. Ghulam Jailani told Pajhwok Afghan News two people, including a woman, were killed and one injured in a roadside blast in the Kam Karez area of Store district on Thursday morning.

He said security forces had evacuated the injured civilian to the hospital for treatment.

Separately, one Afghan Local Police (ALP) personnel has been killed and two others injured in the Taliban attack on their check-post on Wednesday night, he said.

Jailani added army soldiers’ vehicle going for the help of attacked local security personnel struck a roadside bomb in which soldiers had been killed and as many injured.
