Police officer shot dead in Ghazni gun attack

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A finance official at the police headquarters in southern Ghazni province was gunned down in the provincial capital on Friday.  

Ghulam Yahya, the victim, came under attack from unidentified gunmen in the Qala-i-Naw area of Ghazni City in the afternoon, the police headquarters said.

The attackers also took away Yahya’s car. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the shooting.
