SHARAN (Pajhwok): Three people, including a policeman, were killed and 12 others wounded in a motorbike bomb blast in southeastern Paktika province on Sunday, on official said.
Mohammad Reza Pacha, the district police chief for Yahyakhel district, told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion took place in the district bazaar at around 10:00am.
He added a policeman was among three people killed and six other wounded but civilian hospital officials confirmed receiving 12 injured individuals from the scene of the bombing.
Mohammadullah, a shopkeeper, said the explosive device had been attached to a motorbike. Some shops and three vehicles were also damaged in the motorbike-bomb explosion.
No one has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
