President Ghani’s bodyguard stabbed to death

KABUL (Pajhwok): A bodyguard of President Ashraf Ghani has been stabbed to death in limits of the 3^rd police district of Kabul, an official said on Tuesday.

Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman for the interior ministry, confirmed the guard’s body was found in the Kart-i-Chahar area of Kabul. However, he did not provide details about the victim’s identity.

Meanwhile, a security official -- speaking on condition of anonymity -- identified the bodyguard as Hamid Kirmani, who was stabbed to death by unidentified attacker.
