KABUL or Senate on Tuesday discussed the country’s security situation and decided to summon top security officials next week.
Senator Gul Ahmad Azami criticized the deteriorated security situation in western Farah province and the fall of Anar Dara district to the Taliban.
“Farah is on the verge of collapse and the government should take extraordinary steps to improve the situation which would otherwise go out of control.”
It was government’s responsibility to ensure security . . .
