3 civilians dead, 4 injured in Kabul car bombing

<p><a href="/en/afganistan/kabul" class="glossify-link">KABUL</a> (Pajhwok): Three civilians were killed and four others injured in a suicide car bombing in capital Kabul on Saturday morning, an official said.</p>

<p>Nasrat Rahimi, deputy spokesman of the Ministry of Interior (MoI), confirmed the bombing that happened at around 9:10am in Park-i-Sanati Kochak area in the limits of ninth police district.</p>

<p>Dr. Waheed Majroh, spokesman for the Ministry of Public <a href="/en/health" class="glossify-link">Health</a>, said three bodies and four injured people had been evacuated to the forensic medical center.</p>

<p>The <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> claimed responsibility for the suicide car bombing, saying one of the group’s members carried out the attack on a foreign forces’ convoy.</p>

<p>Waheedullah, a taxi driver and an eyewitness, said: “I was getting passengers on to the taxi when the blast took place and a thick smoke engulfed the area and pieces of metal struck my car.”</p>

<p>According to a Pajhwok reporter the blast took place about 30 meters from a foreign forces camp and resulted human and financial losses.</p>

<p>Sakhi Ahmad Paiman, a resident of the locality, said hundreds of factories were located in the area and such incident could result in capital flight.</p>
