CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Fearing suicide bombings and the presence of loafers, a less number of local tourists are seen at the Gul Gunadai scenic site in central Parwan province to celebrate the New Year.

A large number of people from Parwan, Kabul and children.

But this new year, some people complained families especially women had stopped visiting the Gul Ghundai site due to the presence of loafers there.

Adul Rab, 30, visiting Gulghandai hill with his family, said: “We came here for picnic, but ended up disappointed. Some youngsters come on motorbikes playing the horns. It is embarrassing.”

He asked security forces to stop loafer people from entering the site in order to encourage families to visit the site for recreation.

Maqsud, the resident of Massoud Township near the Gulghandai hill, said his family members did not visit the beautiful site as they feared blasts and suicide attacks.

He said his family feared terrorists would target crowded places therefore they preferred to stay indoors.
