Pakistan fires rockets barrage into Kunar, damaging crops

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Pakistani forces have fired 157 rockets into eastern Kunar province over the past 24 hours, an official alleged on Monday.

Police spokesman Farid Dehqan told Pajhwok Afghan News the rockets landed in Dangam district, causing no casualties. However, the shelling resulted in damaging crops and forests.

Pakistani forces intermittently have fired rockets into eastern parts of Afghanistan over the past several years. But the Afghan government is yet to take the matter seriously.
