QALAT/KANDAHAR (Pajhwok): A district police chief from neighboring Zabul province was killed in a Taliban gun attack in the capital of southern Kandahar province on Saturday, officials said.
Gul Ahmad Grani, the Shahr-i-Safa district police chief in Zabul, came under attack as soon as he came out of his home in Jaddi area of Kandahar City in the limits of the ninth police district, said the Shahri Safa district administrative chief, Abdul Samad Durrani.
