KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Afghan and Pakistani security forces clashed on Saturday on Durand Line in southeastern Khost province, an official said.
Police Chief Abdul Hanan Zadran told Pajhwok Afghan News the skirmish erupted in Zazi Maidan district at 8:00am in the morning.
He said the Pakistani security forces have initiated skirmish by storming a check-post in the area, there was no information about possible casualties.
Malim Meraj, a resident of the area, confirmed the clash and said both sides used heavy and light weapons during the firefight.
