Heading a high level delegation, Atmar left for China at the invitation of China’s vice president Wang Qishan, said National Security Council spokesman and Strategic Relations head Qadar Shah.
He said NSA Atmar would discuss bilateral and trade relations between the two countries with Chinese officials besides security and other bilateral issues.
Shah added Atmar would discuss the ongoing Afghan peace process and the Chinese government leadership’s cooperation in the peace process, joint drive against regional terrorism, regional cooperation and economic cooperation during his three-day visit.
