CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Earlier warned by Daesh or Islamic State (IS) militants, a 16 years old boy was shot dead by an unidentified armed man in Sayedkhel district of central Parwan province, an official said.
Ahmad Lemar Osmanyar, administrative chief of Sayedkhil district, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the boy was a resident of Hamzakhel village of the district and he was killed by an unknown man late on Friday.
“This boy was earlier threatened by Daesh militants via telephone for not helping the rebel group,” he said.
Osmanyar said that the father of the boy was financial and administrative manager of Sayedkhel district.
The incident is under investigation by police, he added.
No anyone so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
