NIELI (Pajhwok): The police chief for the Kiti district of central Daikundi province has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a woman.
A credible security source, who declined to be named, told Pajhwok Afghan News Syed Abu Hassan had been accused of raping a woman inside a police station Tuesday night.
He added a team from the provincial capital had been dispatched to the area for further investigations and Hassan was currently under interrogation.
