PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Deputy Governor of central Logar province and his two bodyguards were killed in the militants attack on Thursday, a local representative said.
Provincial Council Head Haseebullah Stanikzai told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in the Waghjan Bazaar area of Mohammad Agha district this afternoon.
He said Deputy Governor Qamaruddin Shekaib was on his way to Kabul attack in Waghjan. Governor Spokesman Saleem Saleh has been injured in the Taliban attack.
