PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): Two people were killed and a third wounded when a roadside bomb hit a civilian vehicle in the capital of central Logar province on Tuesday, an official said.
ShapurAhmadzai, police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Hino model vehicle struck the hidden bomb in Chawni locality of Pul-i-Alam, the provincial capital.
He said the landmine had been emplaced by Taliban insurgents for targeting security forces but it killed and wounded civilians.
The Taliban have not yet commented about the roadside blast, their weapon of choice against government forces.
