KABUL (Pajhwok): President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will receive his computerised national identity card (CNIC) today, his office said on Thursday.
Shah Hussain Murtazvi, deputy spokesman for the president, the process of distribution of CNICs would start today with Ghani getting his card at a formal ceremony. High-ranking officials will be in attendance.
Despite disagreements, the process of registration of government officials began three months back on President Ghani’s orders. Many senior officials were registered to receive CNICs.
