GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Drivers and passengers of Ghazni-Paktika highway complained they had been harassed and forced by police to pay money.
Nearly two months back, passengers of Ghazni-Paktika highway erected a protest tent in Paktika province and claimed that Taliban were taking passengers off from cars while police were harassing them for extorting money on the highway.
In response to the protest, government officials promised to increase security posts on the highway and take those police forces who extort money from people to justice.
