KABUL (Pajhwok): A suicide bomber was killed before he could reach his target in the upscale Shahr-i-Naw neighbourhood of Kabul on Monday, an official said.
Hashmatullah Stanikzai, Kabul police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the bomber wanted to detonate his explosive jacket near a blood donation tent in Park-i-Shahar at 11:30am.
But the bomber was positively identified by police and gunned down before he could execute his plan, according to the police official, who said no one else was harmed . . .
