KABUL (Pajhwok): The Independent Electoral Complaints Commission (IECC) on Monday said signs of interference in its affairs and other illegal activities by possible candidates were visible.
The commission said the sale of stickered tazkiras (identity cards), undue favours influence and misuse of government resources were signs that could be seen.
A statement from IECC said: “We feel direct and indirect interference in election affairs from officials and government and non-governmental organisations.” The panel asked all organisations to avoid interfering in its affairs.
