Balkh governor’s nephew killed by a girl

MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Balkh Governor’ nephew has been killed by a girl in Mazar-i-Sharif, the capital of northern Balkh province, an official said.

Police Spokesman Sher Jan Durrani told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident happened in the limits of fourth police district on Tuesday night.

He said a body was found in the area but it could not be ascertained who and why the man was killed.

But Governor Spokesman Munir Farhad says the slain man is Saifuddin and he is the niece of Governor Ishaq Rahguzar who was killed by a girl.

Farhad said police have launched investigation into the murder. No group has spoken about the incident.
