FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Taliban insurgents have been driven from the capital of western Farah province where residents have reopened their shops, an official claimed on Wednesday.
Gen. Raz Mohammad Oryakhel, commander of the 207th Zafar Military Corps, told Pajhwok Afghan News the militants launched a coordinated attack on Farah City on Monday night and entered parts of the city at 5pm.
