18-year-old commits suicide in Samangan

AIBAK (Pajhwok): An 18-years-old boy has committed suicide by hanging himself to death in northern Samangan province, an official said on Monday.

Provincial police spokesman Munir Rahimi told Pajhwok Afghan News the youth, Safiullah, hailed from Guzar-Bagh Zakhira locality of Aibak city, the provincial capital. He hanged himself to death through a rope at his home late Sunday night.

It was sixth case of suicide so far this ongoing solar year in Samangan due to family violence and poverty.
