Ongoing conflict against Islam, its values: HPC

Maulvi Attaurrahman was addressing a youth gathering on misusing the name of Islam and continuation of the fighting in the country here. The huddle was organised by the youth wing of the Ministry of Information and Cultural Affairs

The peace emissary said: “In Afghanistan, religion and Islam have been misused, although they are pure and holy.”

The HPC deputy head said fighting had its own rules and regulations in Islam and there was need to have proper knowledge of religion before taking up the arms.

“Earlier we had a gathering with ulema in the capital, we announced that fighting in Afghanistan was against Islam and its values.”

Kamal Sadaat, head of the youth affairs wing, said that peace was the demand of every Afghan.

He told the youth: “Over the past 40 years, fighting is underway in this country. Many youth like you have been killed along with their dreams, some got addicted to drugs and others migrated to foreign due to insecurity.”

He said now there was the need for a new chapter to be opened, the youth should take decisive part in bringing peace to the country so durable peace, which was people’s dream, could be restored in the country.
