Zadran, Mustafizur ruled out of T20 series

Debashish Chowdhury, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) doctor, was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo that Mustafizur would take up to three weeks to recover from the injury.

Subsequently, Bangladesh left Dhaka for the Indian city of Dehradun on Tuesday morning without their main pace bowler.

Mustafizur injured his left toe during the Indian Premier League (IPL), which concluded on Sunday.

The Bangladesh-Afghanistan T20s are penciled in for June 3, 5 and 7. Similarly, Dawlat Zadran will not be available for Afghanistan. A knee injury may keep him out for a month.
