Najib Aqa Fahim, State Minister for Natural Disasters Management, received the donated rice at a ceremony here on Sunday. He said the donation was part of the 4,242 tons of rice the Chinese government had promised to Afghanistan.
“China donated 3,517 tons of rice to Afghanistan seven months ago and another 725 tons today,” he said.
He added the previously donated rice was distributed to flood and draught affected families in all 34 provinces of the country and the newly arrived . . .
