2 policemen killed, 1 wounded in Ghor attacks

FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Two policemen have been killed and a third wounded during a clash with Taliban province, an official said on Monday.

Mohammad Iqbal Nizami, the police spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the insurgents stormed three check-posts in Musum, Shahr-i-Naw and Allahyar areas.

The overnight clashes in Ferozkoh, the provincial capital, left two police personnel dead and one wounded, Nizami added.

According to the police spokesman, the rebels also suffered causalities, but specific figures are yet to be ascertained.
