Riyadh expresses solidarity with Kabul against terrorism

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has condemned the June 4 suicide attack on a gathering of religious scholars in Kabul, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.

In Riyadh, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the Kingdom’s solidarity with Afghanistan against extremism and terrorism, offering condolences to families of the victims and the Afghan government and people.

A statement from the ministry wished speedy recovery to those injured in the assault, which was claimed by the Islamic State militant group.
