JALALABAD (Pajhwok): More than a dozen civilians were injured in a bomb blast at a fair in the Chaparhar district of eastern Nangarhar province on Monday, an official said.
Attaullah Khogyani, the governor spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion was triggered by an explosive device planted in the Mirza Din locality of the district.
He said 12 civilians were injured and three of them were evacuated to the Jalalabad Zonal Hospital. Nine others were taken to a local hospital.
