KABUL) on Monday announced dividing southern Ghazni province into three separate electoral constituencies for the upcoming elections.
IEC deputy spokesman Abdul Aziz Ibrahimi told Pajhwok Afghan News the decision to divide Ghazni into three electoral constituencies came after lengthy discussion at a meeting held on Monday.
The meeting was attended by besides IEC officials, representatives from the Presidential Palace, the Chief Executive Office, the Independent Electoral Complaint Commission (IECC), the Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG), the Central Statistics Organisation (CSO) and security institutions.
