KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Thursday directed local civil and military officials of western Farah province to strengthen coordination among them, the Presidential Palace said in a statement.
The statement said President Ghani issued the directives during conversation with military officials through a video link from the Tawhid national center.
The meeting assessed the security situation of Farah, the statement said.
Farah Governor Abdul Basir Salangi first presented reports about different issues and situation of the province to the president.
