Indian FM meets relatives of Jalalabad attack victims

Sushma Swaraj vehemently denounced the suicide attack on members of the Afghan Sikh community in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province,

Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar tweeted: “Swaraj expressed sincere condolences during her meeting with a delegation of representatives of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sikh community from Afghanistan and relatives of the victims."

The bomber targeted a delegation travelling to the governor's residence in Jalalabad for a meeting with President Ashraf Ghani. Avtar Singh Khalsa, a longtime leader of the Sikh community, was among those killed.
