KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): The fate of 43 workers of a private construction company remains unknown two weeks after they were kidnapped by Taliban militants in southern Kandahar province.
The workers with the Afghan Sadaqat road construction firm were busy asphalting the road between Spin Boldak and Shorabak districts when the Taliban attacked and kidnapped them two weeks ago.
A few days after the incident, security forces claimed the abducted workers had been taken across the Durand Line.
