GARDEZ (Pajhwok): One person was killed and five others injured in a blast in Gardez, the capital of southeastern Paktia province, on Saturday, on official said.
Police Spokesman Sardar Wali Tabasum told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place near the Da Afghanistan Bank branch office at around 5:00pm.
Public Health Director Walayat Khan Ahmadzai said one body and five injured had been evacuated to the hospital. The body could be recognized while the injured are civilians.
