SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): The protest by supporters of Junbish Milli Islami party entered 13th day on Sunday in northern Faryab province, where government institutions, schools, banks and markets remain closed.
The Junbish supporters launched their protest after security forces arrested Nizamuddin Qaisar, commander of an illegal armed group and a close aide of Vice President Gen. Dostum.
They have been demanding unconditional release of Qaisari and return of Gen. Dostum back to Afghanistan from Turkey.
