KABUL militants, were killed in a suicide blast that ripped through a fateha service for a deceased in the Sayyad district of northern Sar-i-Pul province on Tuesday.
Provincial police chief Abdul Qayyum Baqizoy told Pajhwok Afghan News the attack took place on the gathering in Ajiram village at around 10:30am.
He said the dead included 15 civilians and seven Taliban militants.
Baqizoy did not say for whom the fateha was offered, but said a number of Taliban commanders were also present . . .
