Leaders of the Grand National Coalition of Afghanistan, whose birth was announced in the presence of government officials and politicians, said it had been cobble to rein in chaos in the country and nominate candidate upcoming presidential polls on mutual consensus.
A statement about the creation of the new coalition, from the Presidential Palace received by Pajhwok Afghan News, said that the government has consulted about different national and international issues with political parties and Jihadi and political leaders over nearly last four years.
The government would hold another meeting about some important issues with political parties and figures in the near future, the source said.
These meetings have always stressed that political coalitions and parties could be effective in implementation of national programs, the statement added.
It said the government in the ongoing situation of the country prioritized peace and elections and would also have joint meetings with political parties and movements for the sake of hearing their effective plans for the assistance of government and the public.
“We need for patience, liberalism and positive competition on the (political) ground, and the Afghan people would judge the elections which would be a lesson to all,” the statement concluded.
