KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani on Sunday urged religious scholars to raise their voice against administrative corruption, saying no TV or radio could take the place of minbar.
Around 200 scholars from across the country attended the conference titled “Voice of Minbar against corruption” on the day one in Kabul.
In his address to the event participants, President Ghani thanked the religious scholars for their coordination and said: “Silence over corruption is not legitimate, it is treason,” said the president.
