MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): Civil society activists in northern Balkh province on Thursday strongly condemned Tuesday’s gun and bomb attack on the Refugee and Repatriation Department in eastern Nangarhar province, in which 14 lives were lost.
A member of the Provincial Civil Societies Activists Association, Syed Mohammad Yazdan Parast, expressed his deep concern over the attack in Jalalabad.
He said it was due to Nangarhar’s geographic location that insurgents always waged their attacks there and because the province generated a great revenue.
