KABUL (Pajhwok): President Ashraf Ghani has stressed the need for proper management of potable water and prevention of the water’s wastage in capital Kabul, saying urban district heads would have more authority in the new municipality law, a statement said Thursday.
The statement from the Presidential Palace to Pajhwok Afghan News said that the president met with acting Kabul mayor and heads of different urban districts on Wednesday evening and discussed with them the provision of standard municipality services to Kabul residents.
