FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have shot dead the Central Statistic Department head in western Farah province, a public representative said on Sunday.
Dadullah Qane, a member of provincial council, told Pajhwok Afghan News that Safiullah Zamani gunned down on Saturday night when he was on the way to home from mosque in Qala-i-Zaman area of Farah City.
He blamed security forces over negligence because about 33 individuals had been kidnapped last month but no action was taken in this regard.
