<p>MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): At least six civilians were killed and seven others wounded as a roadside bomb ripped through a vehicle in northern Balkh province on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Sholgar district police chief Syed Arif Agha told Pajhwok Afghan News the bomb had been planted by <a href="/en/taliban" class="glossify-link">Taliban</a> insurgents on the road to Qoch Qazal village.</p>
<p>He said six civilians were killed and seven others wounded at 7am when the car they were travelling in struck the roadside bomb. The injured evacuated to hospital.</p>
<p>The Taliban have so far said nothing about the bombing but government officials often blame them for such attacks.</p>
