KABUL Jasm Mohammad Alkhaledi on Wednesday held a meeting with Acting Finance Minister Mohammad Humayon Qayyomi and discussed economic ties between Kabul and Riyadh, according to a statement.
During the meeting the Saudi envoy said his country was considering expanding economic relation with Afghanistan pledged cooperation in Afghan reconciliation process, a statement from the Saudi embassy said.
Alkhaledi showed Riyadh readiness for cooperation in Afghan peace process, humanitarian assistance, infrastructure development, improved trade ties and investment in Afghanistan.
